Looking forward
to seeing
YOU
in Financial Services
next year!

Welcome to Financial Services!

Congratulations on your acceptance into Financial Services for the 2010-11 school year. This two-year program will provide you with a broad foundation in business and finance that will prepare you for college and beyond. I am looking forward to having you be a part of Financial Services. I know that you will make a positive impact on our program over the next two years.

There are lots of exciting changes coming for next year, but we'll maintain the same fun, fast-paced, challenging learning environment that everyone has come to expect. Financial Services will meet for a double bell (about 90 minutes) next year during bells 5-6. This will provide us with enough time to cover all of the exciting business topics that Financial Services is known for, and still allow you the flexibility to schedule all of your academic and elective classes, including Advanced, Honors, and AP courses. We are also working to expand our relationships with colleges so that you can earn even more advanced placement business credits for this program. Your Financial Services class will be the strongest we've ever had and I'm glad that you will be part of it!

Friendly Faces

Congratulations... you are now on your way to a successful future in business and finance.

Over the next two years, you will learn many things about the exciting world of business. You will explore economics and entrepreneurship, business law and international business, saving and investing, real estate and credit, insurance and risk management, corporate finance and accounting. You will become experienced in all of the latest technology applications used in business today. You will improve your communication skills, hone your leadership abilities, and develop strategies for working successfully in teams. And most importantly, you will be prepared for a successful transition to many exciting college majors and careers.

Get ready ... this program will change your life!
